Holiday Sale

I'm having a little friends and family holiday sale next Saturday, December 12th. Joining me will be my friend Anna of beau & marigold. She makes luscious hand knit scarves and sweaters! I will be selling SAMPLE mobiles at a great discount as well as some new mobiles, old stock inventory of sachets, totes, jewelry rolls, etc (also at a super discount). I will also be throwing some vintage finds into the sale mix. Anna will have for sale her gorgeous knits as well as some heavily discounted samples from her former line. Sneak Peak

Next week I will be updating my website with some new mobile and garland designs. Kimi and I had a marathon day yesterday photographing all of the new things. This is a little peak at what's to come.

I have re-designed my garlands so that they are more affordable due to a quicker production method. There will be some fun new colors too, so stay tuned!

DwellStudio

I was happy to see this picture today posted by the talented ladies over at DwellStudio on their blog. It is an image of a mobile I made to go with a customer's DwellStudio baby bedding set. I love seeing the mobiles I send out in to the world in the rooms where they hang.

Brendan Monroe

Brendan Monroe is an artist whose work I like very much. I wish I were able to see his current show on now at Richard Heller Gallery in Los Angeles. His first monograph is now available here. The book is beautifully designed by Product Etcetera.

More Branches

I have just added two new unique branch hangings to my site. Pictured at top is a mini hanging made from a found branch, paper, beads, pearls, and two little pom poms. Below is a larger birch branch wall hanging which has 3 yarn pom poms. They are available to purchase here.

Greetings and happy Tuesday! Many of you have expressed interest in seeing more of the unique birch branch pieces. Today I added one new birch piece to my site. I am busy working on a few more that I hope to add soon. I also added the Ochre mobile ( pictured at top ) to my collection. I am loving this color combination of a deep gold yellow, brown, black, grey, white and cream. It feels very Fall like to me. The mobile can be purchased here and the birch piece here.

Beautiful Monsters

Hayley Barker's Chimeras is now on view here. She paints a world of imagined monstrous and playful creatures. I like them very much.
